Rules, Terms and Conditions
for Commissions.
01. GENERAL TERMS.

Prices are subject to change based on demand.

I have the right to reject any order for any reason.

I reserve the right to change the prices anytime for any reason. I won't change the budget of any accepted commission between changes.
02. PAYMENTS.

The currency accepted is EURO and can be paid through PayPal or any bank transfer.
-
Commissions will be paid 50% of the price upfront in order to start working and the rest after approving the final sketch.

Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.

03. PROCESS AND DELIVERY.

Describe precisely the details of the order, either by mail or by filling out the form, so that I can give you a budget.

Once the budget has been approved and I am about to start the order, I will notify you so you can make the first payment. Until the payment has been confirmed, I will not start working.

Depending on the commission and its complexity, I'll send you at least 2 sketches of the idea of the commission in the case of an illustration work and 1 of each page in the case of a comic commission (as a storyboard).

After the sketch is approved I will move on to the final sketch. After the final sketch is approved I will move on to the final version of the commission.

I will send you a low quality version of the finished material. Once the rest of the order is paid, I will send you a high quality version in JPG and PDF.
04. REVISIONS.

Before approving the final sketch, you have a maximum of 3 changes included in the price. After that, 5% will be added to the total price for each extra change, unless a misunderstanding from my side has been made.

If you want me to change something in the final work that has already been approved, you will get charged between 10% and 20% extra, depending on the complexity of the change.
05. COPYRIGHT AND USES.

Me (The Artist).

I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.

I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.

I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.

I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork (your characters are still yours, etc.)

You (The Client).
-
You can upload the assignment to any website or social network you want.
-
You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece.
-
You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.
-
You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).

The following examples is considered copyright infringement:
-
Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially (to make money off it).

Claiming the artwork as your own
-
Altering the artwork without my consent.

In some cases, the commercial rights to the image may be purchased.

In some cases, it would be possible to buy the commercial rights of the commission's content.
REFUND / CANCELATION POLICY.

The customer will not be allowed to a refund of the upfront payment once work has begun on the order for the following reason:

The upfront payment is an insurance of my time dedicated to the assignment.

If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.
-
If you cancel your order BEFOREI started it, you can get a full refund.

Paypal specific:
-
If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
